Refuse derived fuels

Fossil fuels’ availability is dwindling as the global demand for energy is on the rise. The development of new energy forms, in particular refuse-derived fuels, is crucial. These so-called secondary fuels are obtained from waste products.

Waste can be processed as an alternative fuel in gas, liquid or solid form, depending on its purpose.

Using the ever-increasing quantities of waste for fuel is also an opportunity to protect natural resources, as is environmentally-friendly energy production.

Our KRÖGER grabs are particularly suitable for use in challenging environments thanks to their leading lifting technology and low maintenance requirements. Our special motorised clamshell grab is ideal for alternative fuel incineration plants. It is compact and designed to operate automatically for use in tight spaces.
