Grab Technology for Underwater, Gravel and Sand Extraction

For the demanding extraction of gravel and sand under water, METZEN provides high performance solutions with KRÖGER motor and rope grabs. Developed for use at depths of over 100 metres and in challenging ground conditions, our systems deliver maximum reliability, efficiency and operational safety, even under extreme conditions.

The grabs feature a robust, maintenance free design, rope friendly pulley systems and wear resistant materials. Lightweight construction, optimised digging behaviour and individually replaceable shells and teeth allow precise adaptation to different operating environments.

Thanks to intelligent kinematics with five or seven fold rope reeving and single rod control, conveying capacity is further increased, ensuring resource saving and economical operation at the highest technical level.
