Lars Hagen manages both the technical department and the business of KRÖGER Greifertechnik, a product brand of METZEN. With extensive experience in engineering, leadership, and business development, he drives the growth of the site while ensuring that clients consistently receive premium solutions in grabs technology.

He began his career as an automotive mechanic and later earned a degree in industrial engineering. Early on, he assumed leadership roles, first as team leader in technical sales for engineering services, and later as site manager responsible for two locations.

Lars combines technical expertise, organisational skill, and innovative thinking. His projects include optimising grabs for BASF in Düsseldorf, providing technical support for RWE in Essen and EGK in Krefeld, and developing the largest underwater grab for Steengoed in Belgium. He also managed the conversion of a production hall for a new CNC drilling machine, completing the project on time, on budget, and with lasting efficiency improvements.

At KRÖGER Greifertechnik, Lars oversees the overall site management, focusing on technical excellence, efficient production processes, and operational effectiveness. He is highly valued by customers and colleagues for his clear, transparent communication, solution-oriented approach, and collaborative leadership style. He combines existing strengths with forward-looking opportunities, bridges engineering and sales, and develops solutions that drive real value.
