Biography

Marcel Ben-Jemiaa plays a key role at METZEN as Senior Engineer and Quality Manager, shaping the company’s quality assurance processes. With his expertise, he combines technical knowledge and project management to deliver solutions that ensure customer safety, punctuality, and the highest standards.

He trained as a CNC machinist and precision engineer, later qualifying as a certified mechanical technician. He has further deepened his expertise through numerous additional certifications, including TÜV certifications as Quality Representative and Quality Manager, qualification as a corrosion protection officer under EN 1090, and accreditation as a non-destructive testing inspector.

In his projects, Marcel integrates quality management with technical execution to create efficient and reliable solutions for clients. His work includes complex steel construction projects, special constructions in international plant engineering for clients such as GEA Wiegand, and the integration of screening systems in specialised sand and gravel plants. He also focuses on implementing and managing quality assurance systems, for example in the redesign of production lines for Boehringer Ingelheim.

Marcel oversees the interfaces between design, manufacturing, and assembly, implements standards such as EN 1090, ISO 9001, and ISO 3834, and trains employees to foster sustainable quality awareness and technical competence.
