METZEN at the KiWi Forum 2026: Raw Material Extraction and Biodiversity in Dialogue

On 14 April 2026, METZEN will be present at the KiWi Forum in Baden-Baden and we look forward to engaging in discussions on site.

As part of the KiWi working group within the Industrieverband Steine und Erden Baden-Württemberg e.V., the forum brings together key future topics of the industry. It focuses on how raw material extraction and biodiversity can be aligned. It also addresses the challenges and opportunities arising from the interplay between resource security, renewable energy expansion and innovative solutions such as floating photovoltaic systems.

The aggregates and raw materials industry is no longer just a supplier. It actively contributes to the creation of habitats and plays a role in sustainable development. This is exactly where METZEN positions itself, with solutions that combine economic performance and ecological responsibility.

We will be represented at the event with our product brands GERWIN and KRÖGER, demonstrating how high-performance technology and sustainable processes can be integrated.

Our materials experts Klaus Reichel from KRÖGER and Adrian Hense from GERWIN will be available for direct exchange.

KRÖGER stands for efficiency in material handling. For more than 50 years, KRÖGER grabs have represented robust, precise and low-maintenance solutions. In raw material extraction in particular, they ensure reliable processes, high availability and efficient material flow, even under extreme conditions.

GERWIN represents plant engineering for the raw materials industry. GERWIN designs and delivers customised plants and components for gravel works, asphalt mixing plants and quarries, from planning through to installation. The focus is always on achieving maximum efficiency, safety and long-term operational reliability.
